YEP stands for Youth Entrepreneurship Program
The Youth Entrepreneurship Program presents the perfect opportunity for innovative young adults in Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire Region to learn, network, and compete in a business plan competition for scholarships.
Through a variety of events, seminars, activities, and working sessions, participants, ages 18-27 years of age, will understand how to develop their creative entrepreneurial side and re-invent their notions of “tomorrow”.
Three Key Strategies
For students and young entrepreneurs who have a business or business idea and are looking to take the first steps towards success, the Youth Entrepreneurship Program holds an annual business plan competition where high school and college students compete for scholarships.
Networking
For anyone who has ever had a business, a great idea or simply wants to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial community, the Youth Entrepreneurship Program holds a variety of events meant to connect entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
YEP 2.0
For young entrepreneurs who have already started a small business and are looking to grow it, the Youth Entrepreneurship Program offers YEP 2.0. This is an intensive series of seminars and workshops that focus on taking your business to the next level.
About Our Partners

The Business & Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) is a network of Community College professionals working in strategic partnerships with businesses, industry and community organizations throughout the state of California. The Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a project of the BEC.

The Orange County SBDC has spent over 22 years helping businesses to grow and thrive. Services include training, access to resources, and no-charge, one-on-one, confidential consulting covering business development, operations, marketing, financing, and government and corporate contracting. Workshops, seminars, and conferences are offered on a variety of topics including access to capital, traditional and online marketing, and sales.

The Center for International Trade Development (CITD) invests in California’s economic growth and global competitiveness through industry specific education, training and services that contribute to a highly skilled and productive workforce. The Youth Entrepreneurship program is a project of the CITD.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program, a project of the Business & Entrepreneurship Center, is housed at the Rancho Santiago Community College District offices in the city of Santa Ana. The Rancho Community College District is home to Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College.

The Economic Workforce Development through the California Community Colleges invest in California’s economic growth and global competitiveness through industry-specific education, training and services that contribute to a highly skilled and productive workforce.

The California Community Colleges is the largest system of higher education in the nation, with 2.6 million students attending 112 colleges. The Statewide Business & Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) is a program of the Chancellors Office. The Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a project of the BEC.
